La Jolla Newcomers Club: Special Events

Each year our Newcomer members have the opportunity to attend several social events. One or more of the following events may appear on the Club calendar each year for those who wish to participate.

FALL KICKOFF AND PRESIDENT'S RECEPTION

The Fall Kickoff is the first gathering of the season and when the new LJNC Board is introduced to the Club membership. This activity may be anything from a buffet dinner to a barbecue in a park.

HOLIDAY PARTY

Holiday Party is the time to celebrate the season with new and old friends.

SPRING RENEWAL PARTY

Spring Renewal Party is a festive event held in June to welcome new officers, acknowledge past officers, and strengthen or initiate friendships with all.

ONE TIME ACTIVITIES

One Time Activities may include events such as an evening on the Hornblower with music and dancing, a theater outing, a garden tour, or a sporting event.
