Joining La Jolla Newcomers Club is simple with two easy steps. To complete online, first click the New Member Application button above, complete the application and submit it. After you submit your application, a Thank You page will appear. On this page will be New Membership Dues Payment buttons which will allow you to pay online using a secure credit card link.
Eligibility
New members must have moved to 92037, the La Jolla zip code, within three years prior to completing an application. Exceptions to the three-year rule may be considered by the Board for persons that have had a recent major life change. All new members must reside in 92037 at the time of application.
Club Year and Dues
The Club year is July 1 through June 30. Dues for the year are payable on July 1. Membership renewals are for the full year only. Membership in LJNC will continue only with uninterrupted full-year renewals. A directory is published each August with supplements in November, February and May.
New Member Dues for the year July 1 – June 30 are:
Individual $50 or Couple $100
If joining between July 1 – December 31, then the initial dues are:
Individual $50 or Couple $100, for 12-month membership
If joining between January 1 – April 30, then the initial dues are:
Individual $25, Couple $50, for a 6-month membership
If joining between May 1 – June 30, then the initial dues are:
Individual $50 or Couple $100, and good through June 30 of the following year.
