La Jolla Newcomers Interest Groups

Activity groups are the heart and soul of our organization. They provide opportunities to make friends with people who enjoy the same activities you do while enjoying all that La Jolla has to offer. Some activities listed may change slightly each year. Newcomer members begin new groups, and their leadership is an exciting and changing asset of the organization.

SOCIAL AND DINING

COFFEE AROUND TOWN - Meets the 2nd Friday of every month to promote friendship and good will among Newcomers.

DINNER DATES - Enjoy a "round robin" of dinner dates with two or three other Newcomer couples or pairs in the comfort of someone's home.

HAPPY HOUR AROUND TOWN - Offers the opportunity to socialize with fellow LJNC members at a variety of restaurants and enjoy Happy Hour prices on food and/or drinks. Usually meets the 2nd Thursday of the month during selected restaurants' Happy Hours.

OUT TO LUNCH - Meets on the fourth Thursday of the month. Members of the group take turns choosing the restaurant and are not limited to La Jolla.

PUNCH 'n LUNCH - Casual potluck, good conversation, new and renewed friendships. Held from 11:30 am-1:30 pm on the fourth Tuesday of the month (except holidays) at members' homes.
